At the same time that Wegmann received the order for the sleeping cars WL4ü-41a, Linke-Hofmann received an order for two similar coaches with the numbers 18 001 and 18 002. These coaches were also double stock coaches, and these coaches were also delivered in 1941. The coaches were similar as the WL4ü-41a. These coaches were also 26.000 mm long, and their weight was 57,2 ton. Only coach 18 002 survived the war and remained with Mitropa in East Germany after the war.
