Bogies

The coaches were equiped with bogies of type Minden Deutz 50 with brakes of type Knorr KE-GPR-Mg in combination with magnetic brakes. Later most of the coaches were provided with modern bogies Minden Deutz. Only the coaches ARD4üm-64/ARDümh 105 and WR4üm-64/WRümh 132 were equiped with bogies Minden Deutz 930. The bogies were made of steel and had a wheel base of 2,50 meter.

The coaches built in epoch III were equiped with axle generators with a capacity of 12,5 kW for the climat control and for recharging the bateries, which had a capacity of 2 x 200 ampere 110/24 volt. Later the DB removed all axle generators in epoch IV.
