E 19
 | E 19 02 as 119 002 in Bamberg, April 1977 | Photo: Christian Splittgerber | After the war the locomotives E 19 01 and the E 19 02 were going to the DB. Their wine red coloring was changed in a green black coloring. The top speed was 140 km/h. At the end of the fifties all locomotives got the new blue/black livery like all electric locomotives of the DB that time. The locomotives got in the sixties the indication 119, the E 19 01 and 02 got the numbers 119 001 and 119 002 and the E 19 11 and 12 got the numbers 119 011 and 012.
The E 19 01 is later restored to it's original state and stays nowadays in the traffic museum of Berlin. The locomotives E 19 11 and E 19 12 were also going to the DB and were permitted for speeds of 140 km/h. The E 19 12 got the blue/black colouring and the E 19 11 the green/black colouring. The locomotives had service in passengers trains on the line München-Nürnberg and in the Frankenwald. The E 19 12 is restored to it's original state and stays nowadays in the traffic museum of Nürnberg.
