These dining cars which were built for Mitropa are of the same construction as the express train coaches of type Bauart 1928. Just the window arrangement was different and of course the interior. The coaches were built from steel and had a length of 23.500 mm, The coaches 1001 up to 1075 were equiped with bogies Görlitz II schwer. The coaches 1076 up to 1087 had bogies of type Görlitz III schwer, and these coaches were welded.
